QUICK BIOGRAPHY
Born on June 5, 1980, Draco Malfoy first attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1991 at the age of eleven. Draco was sorted into Slytherin in his first year at Hogwarts, and later became a Seeker for Slytherin's Quidditch team during his second year. By his fifth year, Draco was a Prefect and also a member of the Inquisitorial Squad, a group of students that both supported Dolores Umbridge and were against Albus Dumbledore. Later on in his fifth year, Draco's father Lucius was arrested and sent to Azkaban.
Once Draco's sixth year arrived, he had been given a special task by Lord Voldemort, and was threatened with death if he failed to succeed. Draco also quit the Slytherin Quidditch team. Near the end of his sixth year, Draco let the Death Eaters into Hogwarts in order to attack the castle and assist in killing Albus Dumbledore. Ultimately his task of killing Dumbledore was completed when Severus Snape killed the headmaster when Draco found himself unable to do so.
By his seventh year, both Draco and his family found themselves to be the brunt of jokes for the other Death Eaters. Later in the year, Draco was given a chance to turn in Harry, Ron, and Hermione over to the Dark Lord if he could correctly identify the disguised Harry, but he could not bring himself to outright admit that he knew it was in fact Harry. By the end of the year, the Malfoys had lived through the final battle, with Harry having saved Draco's life at least twice. Draco is now married to Astoria Greengrass, and has one son: Scorpius. He also now shares a certain amount of respect with Harry.
